Vicky is a freelance theatre director based in London, who works predominantly with new writing.
She has worked extensively with theatres and companies including: Donmar Theatre, Soho Theatre, The Old Vic, Young Vic, Cardboard Citizens, Clean Break, The Pleasance and Theatre 503.
She is currently a Project Associate for The Young Vic, an Associate Artist at Arts Depot, an Alumni Associate for Jerwood Arts and the Lead Artist for In Her Strength, a theatre company that showcasing stories from women with experience of homelessness.
Vicky’s work uses strong and integrated visual and aural aesthetics that are often playful, visceral, and imaginatively ambitious in form; she is often found fusing together multiple disciplines such as music, live art, verbatim, movement and immersive theatre.
Alongside her professional career, Vicky is extremely passionate about creating theatre (text-based and devised) with young people and community groups. She has worked extensively with youth theatre’s, day centre’s, hostels, prison’s, disabled groups & more.
Vicky is also a NT Connect mentor for 2023 and a script reader for The Bush & The Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting.
