Cardboard Citizens Young Actors Company (17-25 year olds who are not in education, employment or training) 

  • Facilitated weekly workshops on drama, music, poetry, movement, devising. 
  • Worked alongside freelance multidisciplinary artists who came to run sessions
  • Toured community pieces into schools, day centres and youth centres in London & UK

Clean Break

Supporting and running outreach work including going to youth and rehab centres for women who have experienced the criminal justice system or are at risk of offending and running taster workshops.

Supporting the Performance workshops and devising theatre pieces such as When All the Lights Are On and a community outdoors arts piece in Kentish Town.

Organising Clean Breaks International Women’s Day, planning activities, budgeting, constructing a programme of events and running the event on the day.

Dialogue: The Community Performance Network

Facilitating creative participatory documentation projects with Stakeholder Partners in Ethiopia: Fekat Circus Company, Meseret Dance Company and NGO Siddartha. Involved running multi-media creative workshops on film and photography, teaching companies how to document and create new materials for their ongoing arts projects.

Official journalist of the twelve day ASSITEJ Cradle of Creativity theatre festival in Cape Town, South Africa. Attended many shows, workshops and seminars on Theatre for Young People and documented every event I went to in a variety of different forms including: vlogs, blogs, videos, photo essays, journals, toolkits, voxpops, articles.

Co-founder of women-led York based queer performance art company. SOURPUSS ran workshops, club nights and artist development programmes. Facilitating workshops in lip-syncing,drag, gender and providing feedback to emerging artists.

Devising and performing weekly performances for children at Chickenshed and outside venues such as the V&A, British Summer Time & Alexandra Palace festival. 

Also providing inclusive theatre workshops in schools in North London.

Unlock Drama

An intensive week in HMPYO Brinsford co-facilitating drama workshops with young offenders, and supporting them in devising and performing a play about the smoking cessation to fellow inmates and staff.

NCS The Challenge

Developing and leading creative workshops for young people, using multi-media and drama techniques to help them create social action projects, linking them with community partners across London  and supporting them in building their own social enterprises.

Reading Rep

Directing the 20/20 youth theatre for teenagers with LLD/D, running workshops and devising theatre shows for local audiences. Also running Reading Rep Youth Theatre (musical theatre) and teaching LAMDA classes to prepare young people for their acting exams.

Stand Up! Discrimination

Facilitating participatory interfaith workshops on anti-muslim hate and anti-Semitism in secondary schools around the UK.
