As part of Newham Unlocked Festival and in collaboration with Festival.org, ‘Rathbone Roots’ is an outdoor arts festival, celebrating local creativity and talent.
Held at Rathbone Market, Canning Town, I engaged and programmed an array of artists and produced the event. I also engaged partners Anchor House (a homeless charity) who’s residents performed at the festival.
Line up included: choreographer and dancer Joseph Toonga, The London Reggae Choir, Pan Steel Band, Somali & Chinese local groups, Quincey the comedian, and hip-hop participatory artist Mechanikool.
